The Kinder Karate program is a specifically designed program that takes the mental and physical benefits of martial arts training and packages them into a class that is fun and engaging for younger students. The classes focus on listening skills, balance and coordination drills, and developing discipline and self-control. Our Kinder Karate program is taught by experienced, black belt instructors specially trained to teach young children.
There are two class groups that meet twice a week. Each class group is set at a maximum of eight students. Parents who register after the class is full will automatically be entered into a waiting list and will be notified as space becomes available.
Two 30-minute classes each week taught by an experienced, black belt instructor.
Belt testing and promotions are included.
Promotions are done in class and parents are invited to watch as their child performs their movements and promotes to the next rank.
Pricing & Payments
We do not take any payments at the YMCA.
Tuition is billed on either a weekly or monthly basis. Families may choose to receive an emailed invoice each time tuition is due or to set up an automatic ACH bank transfer. When registering for the class, you may select the payment method that is most convenient for you. In addition to tuition, students will need an American Sport Karate t-shirt, which may be purchased during registration and will be delivered to the student in their class.
All payments must be completed at least 24 hours before the start of the class. Late payments may interrupt attendance eligibility. All tuition paid is nonrefundable.
